BWired were again the headline sponsor of the Joburg Open 2011, and are proud to be associated with the City of Johannesburg on this event. The Joburg Open is an official co-sanctioned Order of Merit event on the PGA European Tour and Sunshine Tour.   Charl Schwartzel successfully defended his Joburg Open title with a four-stroke victory on the East Course at Royal Johannesburg and Kensington Golf Club on the 13th to 16th  January 2011, taking the title for the second consecutive year.
